Date: SATURDAY, JULY 17TH 2021 BILOXI BAY BRIDGE
Kroc and Roll Sunset Run 2021 is on! Join us as we come together to celebrate our 10th annual run event. We’re revamping this year’s event so our runners, volunteers, and community members can participate safely. And, of course, as enthusiastically as ever!
As always, both our 5K run and 10K run will start and end at the Golden Nugget Hotel and Casino. The 5K runners will turn around on the bridge, back to the Golden Nugget Hotel & Casino, while our 10K runners continue onto Ocean Springs, Front Beach Drive along the coast, then turn around at Washington Ave. and then back over the bridge to the Finish Line.
This year, we will offer hand sanitizer at our different water stations along the route. Our Kroc Center staff will also be wearing appropriate PPE, such as gloves and masks. Runners may have the option to wear masks, but it will not be required.
Each year we join under the Mississippi Gulf Coast sun to give a boost our everyday fitness routine and to raise critically needed funds to support youth programs for local children in the community served by The Salvation Army Kroc Center.
This event also promotes healthy living and exercise. Today, high rates of adult and childhood obesity continue to impact local Mississippians. The Salvation Army Kroc Center Mississippi Gulf Coast remains committed to supporting members of the community by helping them to maintain a healthy lifestyle through fitness programs and events.
