Our homeschool courses are designed with you and your students in mind! We offer extracurricular classes that give your students the ability to socialize, collaborate, work as a team, and get experience in a classroom setting in a safe environment. We believe in Proverbs 22:6, “Train up a child in the way they should go, and they will not depart from it.” Our classes are designed with life-giving principles and our teachers are here to serve you!
Registration Fee- The registration fee is $30 per student, due by January 10, 2025.
Tuition- Tuition is paid on a per-course basis and is as follows: 1-hour classes are $90.00 and 30-minute classes are $45.00

Ages 5-7
Art Smart
Discover new skills and talents while designing unique creations using a variety of materials including paint, safety scissors, and recycled materials to make crafts and art.
Little Swimmers
Our instructors follow a plan to introduce new swimming and water safety skills and build on previously learned skills. Each class is packed with enjoyable, interactive, and stimulating tasks that inspire kids to be eager to participate and acquire new swimming skills.
Music
This class promotes music literacy through active music making. Students will explore playing instruments, experience playing as a group, and build a solid music foundation. Students may have the opportunity to perform in the Christmas Recital.
P.E.
Students will experience different exercises and activities that give them a well-balanced connection between fitness and health. The goal of this program is to encourage students to explore various methods to ensure lifetime fitness and health.
Reading and Writing Lab
Students will enhance handwriting, spelling, grammar, and reading, tailored specifically to their developmental needs through interactive activities. We will be using the Scott Foresman Reading Street for reading and writing activities. The Reading and Writing Lab is designed to complement student’s existing reading and writing curriculum.
Science Lab
Students will conduct science experiments that allow students to ask questions, probe for answers, conduct investigations, and collect data. They are engaged in the investigative nature of scientific learning.
Sculpture Magic
This class introduces students to the fundamental context of sculpture and three-dimensional design. Students will learn the basic techniques, concepts, and materials found in the sculptural arts.
Ages 8-18
Art Out of the Box
Art out of the Box invites aspiring artists to break free from the ordinary and explore the extraordinary. Unleash your creativity in this innovative class that encourages unconventional artistic expression through a fusion of mediums and avant-garde techniques. Students will embark on a journey to redefine traditional boundaries, fostering a unique and personalized approach to art.
Clay Creations
Students will begin learning the basics of pottery through hand building and work their way towards wheel throwing and more complicated creations! This class will partially take place in the pottery shed near the community garden. Please be on time to this class for days when they will be at the pottery shed as they will leave promptly when class starts.*Due to the increased cost of supplies, this class is priced at $100.
Cooking & Baking
In this fun and interactive cooking and baking class, students aged 8-18 will learn essential kitchen skills, explore creative recipes, and discover the joy of preparing delicious dishes and treats. Whether you're a beginner or have some experience, this class offers hands-on learning in a supportive and engaging environment. Perfect for young chefs looking to enhance their culinary abilities!
Guitar
A class for students looking to grow in their guitar skill. Students of various experience are welcome; beginner - intermediate. Students can expect to learn music theory, classical repertoire, popular music, play musical games, and learn music composition. Students may have the opportunity to perform in the Spring Recital.
Home Economics
This is a comprehensive class designed to equip students with fundamental life skills. From culinary expertise to practical home management, students will explore nutrition, cooking, clothing design, sewing, basic home repairs, and so much more.
Leadership and Public Speaking
This class covers a range of topics, including effective communication, persuasive storytelling, and ethical leadership. Participants will learn how to articulate their ideas with clarity, engage audiences with confidence, and inspire positive change in their communities.Students will need to complete 8 hours of community service.
P.E.
This course offers a dynamic blend of fun and fitness. Through engaging activities and games, students explore various sports, learn fundamental movements, and develop teamwork skills in an inclusive and supportive environment. With an emphasis on fostering a love for physical activity, this class aims to instill healthy habits and promote an active lifestyle among young learners.
Piano
A class for beginner-intermediate students looking to learn the fundamentals of piano. Students can expect to learn music theory, classical repertoire, popular music, play musical games, and learn music composition. Students may have the opportunity to perform in the Spring Recital
Spanish
Students will develop listening, speaking, and writing skills along with basic grammar, vocabulary, and verb conjugations. This class uses an eclectic method of instruction, emphasizing conversational exchanges.
Theatre
Students will study acting methods, monologues, history of acting, and more. Each student will choose a monologue for study and performance at the end of the semester. Students can expect to grow in emotional expression, movement, dialect, and other aspects that make a well-rounded actor. Students may perform in the Spring Recital.
With over 10 years of experience in education and a master's degree in music education from William Carey University, Felicia Bond drives diverse artistic programs at The Salvation Army Kroc Center. She nurtures talent across the performing and visual arts and leads the homeschool program, fostering a creative educational space. Passionate about arts education, Felicia aims to inspire a deep appreciation for the arts, emphasizing their transformative impact on education and culture through ongoing classes and projects.
