CALLING ALL RESTAURANTS TO BE A PART OF TASTE OF SOUTH MISSISSIPPI

Proceeds go to The Salvation Army Kroc Center Youth Programs & Scholarship Fund

February 2, 2023 (Mississippi Gulf Coast) – Tickets are on sale for The Salvation Army’s Taste of South Mississippi, showcasing many of the chefs and restaurants along the Mississippi Gulf Coast.  The event will be held on Thursday, March 23rd, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at The Salvation Army Kroc Center, at 575 Division Street in Biloxi.  The Salvation Army Kroc Center is asking for sponsorships, donations of silent auction items, and for restaurants and chefs to serve up the best samples of their menu.

To participate in the Taste of South Mississippi forms need to be filled out and turned into The Salvation Army Kroc Center prior to the event. Forms can be found online at https://krocmscoast.org/KrocMSCoast/taste-of-south-mississippi or by calling Danielle Emery at 228-374-9100 to have forms mailed or emailed.

All proceeds from the Taste of South Mississippi go directly to The Salvation Army’s youth programs and scholarship fund.  This year’s goal is to raise $30,000 to help kids attend summer day camps and youth programming.  The scholarship fund allows young people to enjoy every aspect of the Kroc Center, from the recreation center, pool, aerobics, as well as all other programs offered.
