Mississippi Gulf Coast– January 27, 2025 – The Salvation Army's highly anticipated Taste of South Mississippi event is back! Mark your calendars for Thursday, March 27 from 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm at the Kroc Center, where guests will enjoy an unforgettable evening of culinary delights, entertainment, and community spirit. Tickets are now available for purchase at KrocMSCoast.org.
What is Taste of South Mississippi?
Taste of South Mississippi is a coastal culinary fundraiser for the Kroc Center, featuring signature dishes from local restaurants, live entertainment from DJ Mixx Miestro and Mississippi Songwriters, with an exciting silent auction. All proceeds support the scholarship fund and youth programming at the Kroc Center, helping our community meet their health and wellness goals or develop skills in art, music, or sports. Also, with a family atmosphere the Kroc Center provides ample family events, camps, after school care, and so much more to support a working family.
How to Get Involved:
- Become a Sponsor: Sponsorship opportunities are still available for businesses and organizations looking to make a meaningful impact while gaining visibility among hundreds of attendees.
- Participate as a Restaurant: Showcase your best dishes and connect with an enthusiastic audience of food lovers while supporting a great cause.
- Donate Silent Auction Items: Contribute unique items, gift cards, or experiences to help raise funds for The Salvation Army's programs.
